Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using the HV Athletic Showcase platform. These terms govern your access to and use of our website and services.
By accessing or using HV Athletic Showcase ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform. We reserve the right to update these terms at any time; continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
The Platform is open to athletes, parents or guardians, coaches, and recruiters. Athletes under the age of 18 must have a parent or guardian provide their email address at registration. By creating an account you represent that all information you provide is accurate and complete.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to notify us immediately at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorized access. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
Athletes and their parents or guardians are responsible for the accuracy of profile information, statistics, and any media submitted. By submitting content you grant HV Athletic Showcase a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display that content on the Platform. You retain ownership of your content and may request its removal at any time.
Direct messaging between coaches or recruiters and athletes under the age of 18 is disabled on the Platform. All communication with minor athletes must be directed through the parent or guardian email on file. We take the safety of young athletes seriously and reserve the right to remove any content or account that puts minors at risk.
Coach and recruiter accounts are free. By registering as a coach or recruiter you represent that you are affiliated with a legitimate educational institution or recruiting organization. We reserve the right to verify credentials and to remove accounts that misrepresent affiliation.
Certain features (the Portfolio tier) require a paid subscription billed monthly through Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You may cancel at any time from your account settings; access continues through the end of the current billing period. Refunds are not provided for partial billing periods. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice.
You agree not to: (a) post false, misleading, or fraudulent information; (b) harass, threaten, or harm other users; (c) attempt to access accounts or data you are not authorized to access; (d) use the Platform to solicit athletes for purposes unrelated to legitimate recruiting; (e) scrape, crawl, or otherwise extract data from the Platform in bulk without written permission.
All Platform design, code, branding, and non-user-generated content is the property of HV Athletic Showcase. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without express written permission.
The Platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. HV Athletic Showcase does not guarantee that athlete profiles will result in recruiting interest or scholarship offers. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim arising from use of the Platform is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Orange County, New York.
